It’s a spooky time coming up, and we wish all of our friends at Adina’s Deck a very happy Halloween!
Assemblywoman Nora Campos from San Jose has helped pass AB 1732. It would allow schools to suspend or expel students who create online profiles impersonating classmates or set up “Burn Pages” filled with material intended to harm others. The bill passed the Assembly 58-0 and moves to the Senate.
This is exciting and important news to share with your children and schools!
Are you looking for ways to help your children with bullying? You are doing the right thing by stopping by!
Adina’s Deck is great for family-friendly slumber parties and discussions. When you give your children their first cell phones, make sure to talk to them about the importance of being safe while texting! They should understand that text messages are just like real words; if they wouldn’t say it in person they shouldn’t say it through texts!
